Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, is sent to the outside provider that returns the results. Hanford People Search does not save a separate copy of those searches on its servers. If you send us a message, we receive the details you choose to provide and use them to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs can record an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps maintain the site and shows which resources are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
What We Do With This Data
The limited data above supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or assemble profiles about individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to government portals, Kings County and California offices, library collections, and outside search services. Their own privacy terms control any data submitted there. Sponsored search results also come from a third-party provider and are governed by that provider's policy.
Parties That May Process Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Data may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it; otherwise, visitor data is not shared.
Safeguards and Retention
An encrypted connection serves the site, and server logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Since users do not create accounts, Hanford People Search holds no user password or account profile.
Users Under 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor submitted such information so it can be removed.
California Privacy Choices
The California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act give covered California residents rights to know, access, delete, and correct personal data, opt out of sale or sharing, and limit certain sensitive-data uses. The Delete Act provisions at Civil Code ยงยง 1798.99.80-1798.99.89 also govern registered data brokers. We can check our contact mailbox and server logs for a request made through the Contact page. Records held by Hanford, Kings County, or California agencies are outside our control, so correction or removal requests for those records must go to their custodians.
Policy Changes
A revised policy will be posted here. Using Hanford People Search after an update means you accept the new version.
